Pirating shit PSA:

Piracy is theft. It doesn't matter if the system is broken, artists will only get pennies if you pay, or you apparently listen to different music every second of every day. It's still theft.

@tw That's easy to say, but it gets difficult when you try to nail down exactly what constitutes piracy.

Theft: the felonious taking and removing of personal property with intent to deprive the rightful owner of it. (Merriam-Webster)

Even if one considers piracy wrong, theft is completely wrong and misleading term. It was weaponized by copyrasts (I do believe that not all copyright holders are the same but some deserve this title) to make it look different and justify harsher prosecution.

Piracy doesn't deprive the rightful owner of their property, they still have it in that exact amount they had it before the act of piracy happened. Logically it is closer to patent violation if happening on mass scale but it is so not theft.
