I'm really glad that I found neverssl.com before had to fly home for the holidays. It's certainly very useful when you're relying on a lot of wifi networks with less-than-perfect captive portals.

I installed Masto as a PWA and I'm not used to looking for it as a real app instead of in Chrome.

Newest addition to Tim's unicode-* domain names: unicode-snowstorm.com/

Subject to breakage because I set it up differently than the others (in fact I can't quite figure out how the others were set up, now) and it might cost too much this way. Why is a simple static web site so complicated?

In the spirit of @sehurlburt on Twitter: I'm always open to helping with questions about systems engineering, network engineering, DNS, SRE, working at Google, working in the infosec business, starting a business without VC, or anything else you can think of!

I think my partner is the only person I know who says "sorry to read that" instead of "sorry to hear that" in response to textual communication of bad news.

I applaud her for the dedication to accuracy. But it makes me double take every time I read it.

I was fired last week by Google for organizing. All I did was make a popup to share the labor notice Google has to share with its workers.

3 hours later mgmt came to my desk, took my phone/laptop, escorted me away. I never got to say goodbye.
